Echo Dynamic draws its inspiration from the perspective of media archaeology, particularly the history of the radio and the deconstruction and reconstruction of its physical components. The radio’s parts resemble a miniature version of the world, which inspired the division of the model into functional urban zones. Music, both tangible and intangible, carries energy and meaning, shaping our perception of space and time. In the post-truth era, “truth” is constructed, distorted, and reshaped, and sound becomes a medium that connects and empowers.

The work divides the city into functional zones—commercial, industrial, residential, municipal service, transport and logistics, and green spaces—and links these urban clusters through sound, forming an auditory network. It is an interactive sound model: each module is equipped with a sensor point that triggers sound when touched. By mapping urban life through sound, the work reveals the invisible rhythms and forces that structure our environment, inviting reflection on how sound mediates our perception of reality through the lens of media archaeology.
