An Eight Year old Chair is a work in which I cut up my childhood clothes and reassembled them into a chair. By transforming personal garments into a functional object, the piece embodies memory, growth, and the passage of time. The chair becomes both a vessel of nostalgia and a material record of my childhood, turning fragments of the past into a tangible, present form.
